VIDEO: Chiropractic Eases Failed Back Surgery Syndrome

Back surgery isn't a magic bullet for relief. Studies show that up to 40% of patients continue to have back pain, despite having had surgery. Many of these patients are told that they will need another surgery, but the success rate for second surgeries is even lower.

In a recent case study, a patient received twelve weeks of chiropractic care. His pain score was reduced from ten out of ten, to three out of ten. Also, his disability score improved by 32%. Nine visits later, he continued to experience zero flare ups in pain. This case study adds to earlier research supporting that patients do not need to resort to revision surgery.
